Saitama vs Carnage Kabuto

The victimCarnage KabutoOne Punch Man · rank 12

Kabuto is the only victim here whose record shows him reading Saitama before contact — he broke off mid-charge, crossed back over the room, and said attacking would have killed him. He was right, and it bought him nothing. He had announced a rampage lasting until the following Saturday; the blow that took his chest, neck and head was thrown because Saturday had arrived and a supermarket sale was closing. Rank 12 is what accurate threat assessment is worth without the means to act on it.

Carnage Kabuto on the One Punch Man ladder

What this does not settle

One death in one work. It is the only place the record puts these two in the same room, and it is evidence about that meeting and nothing wider — not a general matchup, not a rematch, and not a ranking of its own.

The ladder above it is argued from everything either of them has been shown doing; this page is argued from one citation.

Where the two disagree, the disagreement is the point, and it stays visible rather than being resolved by whichever of them happens to be on this page.
