The data, yours to use

Every ranking, citation and death on this site, as files. As of 10 Oct 2026 that is 22 franchises, 568 entries, 1,840 graded citations and 308 kills, regenerated from the rankings on every update.

The licence

Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). You may copy it, share it and adapt it, for any purpose, commercial ones included. The one condition is credit: name the site, link it, and say if you changed anything.

SCP Foundation rows (scp) are under CC BY-SA 3.0 instead. That ranking is built from material published under share-alike terms and is released under them, so reuse of those rows has to keep them.

How to credit it

Put this line next to anything made from the data: a chart, an article, a video description.

The JSON file carries the same three tables under rankings, citations and kills, with numbers as numbers, booleans as booleans and lists as arrays, plus license, attribution, generated and this dictionary as fields.

The grades are calls

A rank, a tier and a confidence grade are editorial judgements, argued on each ranking and made under the rules the build enforces. They are not measurements. The citation beside each one names the work, and usually the place in it, so any of them can be checked, and corrections are welcome.

What the licence covers

The franchises, their characters and the works cited belong to their owners. The licence covers this site's own data and wording: the rankings, the grades, the claims as written here and the structure that holds them. It grants nothing in the works themselves.
