What gets used matters more than what wins. Megumi clears fifteen rows with Chimera Shadow Garden, the domain his own entry marks as incomplete and the fallback he took over Mahoraga once already. The shikigami said to kill a user who cannot subdue it never comes out, so this measures the floor of his kit rather than its ceiling. Reggie turned a receipt into a car and had a partial technique used on him; the ladder learns nothing it was not already holding.
