The same evening and the same borrowed power, with a different loser and a different lesson. Muraki's whole method was to be everywhere at once, and the man it met was not an esper at all by his own account. The shoulder pads came off afterwards, which is the series' way of saying the defeat reached something other than his body. It changes no placing; it says something about the people standing on it.

Self-proclaimed psychic, Spirits and Such Consultation Office

Has no psychic power, so he is the one person on this page the meter has nothing to say about — and that is how he beat Ryo Shimazaki, whose Mind's Eye reads espers' auras and never registered the man walking up to punch him. The one time a figure was printed beside his name it read 1000%, and it belonged to Mob: gratitude, sent across as power after Reigen told him it was all right to run. When ???% tore through the city he went into the storm on Dimple's borrowed strength and told Mob he had never had any of his own. Ranking him would mean giving him a number, which is the one thing his story is about not having.

What this does not settle

One fight in one work. It is the only result the record gives between these two, and it is evidence about that meeting and nothing wider — not a general matchup, not a rematch, and not a ranking of its own.

The ladder above it is argued from everything either of them has been shown doing; this page is argued from one citation.

Where the two disagree, the disagreement is the point, and it stays visible rather than being resolved by whichever of them happens to be on this page.
