Agrees with the order by a long way, and was never in doubt, the loser's own opinion included. What it records is less a contest than a delay: the last man in front of the shelter bought a few minutes and was knocked out of the air for them. His rank is not built on results, and this one would not have built it. It is filed because the outcome is decisive and both sides are ranked, and because it is the plainest picture available of what the cyclist's place here measures.

One afternoon, and in no order the register would recognise: Stinger and Lightning Max out of A-class, then the S-class Puri-Puri Prisoner, then Sonic, who is on no register at all, then the four heroes at the shelter door, then Genos out of S-class again, and last of all the C-class Mumen Rider, beaten down twice and still the last man there to stand up. The story stops to draw every one of them losing. That sequence, rather than the single punch that ended it, is the clearest measure on this ladder of what the middle of the Association is actually worth.

Has held the top of C-class for more than half a year without taking the promotion he is eligible for, and said mid-fight that he is too weak to be a B-class hero, which is the register being told the truth by somebody inside it and left holding a number that fits. Why he never moved up is not something the story says. Rode at the Deep Sea King after it had gone through everyone in front of him, and got back up twice.

What this does not settle

One fight in one work. It is the only result the record gives between these two, and it is evidence about that meeting and nothing wider — not a general matchup, not a rematch, and not a ranking of its own.

The ladder above it is argued from everything either of them has been shown doing; this page is argued from one citation.

Where the two disagree, the disagreement is the point, and it stays visible rather than being resolved by whichever of them happens to be on this page.
