About Cited Feats

Power rankings for the characters of 23 anime, manga, game and fantasy series, where every place is backed by a cited source you can check.

Who runs it

Cited Feats is an independent, one-person project. There is no publisher, no sponsor and no advertising, and nothing to sign up for.

How a ranking is made

Rankings are drafted with the help of AI research tools, working from the original manga, books, games and shows, and from fan wikis that cite them chapter by chapter.

Every ranking is then checked in a separate, blind pass: a fresh checker that did not write it goes through the claims one by one against the sources, looking for the wrong chapter, the wrong winner, or a detail that only exists in an adaptation. Anything that fails is corrected or cut, and the corrections are checked again before the page goes up.

How a character's place is decided

Each series is ranked on its own; nothing is compared across series. A character is ranked at their peak, from what the sources back up, and each source is labelled by how strong it is:

  • shown: you see it happen on the page or screen;
  • stated: a character or narrator says it;
  • scaled: worked out by comparison. The weakest kind, and no character can reach the top of a ranking on it alone.

87% of the sources give an exact chapter, episode, page or link. The evidence page lists every ranking that leans on weaker sources, and the rules page shows the checks every ranking must pass.

Found a mistake?

A wrong chapter, a misread fight, a feat that is missing: send it to @citedfeats.bsky.social on Bluesky. Corrections are made in the ranking itself, and the date on the page changes when they are.
